Looking Around Virgina

well i am finally off Guam for good... i hope

so im out here hunting for boats seems all the
kady krogen cutters that were on the market disaperd
so looking at different makes. looking for a 30-40 mono hull to live on and
travel a bit, probably going to cap my price range at 50k. i can go some distance
to the boat but not too far dont have many helpers yet.

also poking about for liveaborde slips in the area (whiten commute distance of Portsmouth)

Baypoint VMG Marina Little Creek (Norfolk) is liveaboard friendly. It is not the shortest commute to Portsmouth but is doable.

looked at a pearson 365 1978 today

bottom paint 3yrs old seems with divers cleaning it paint is lasting 5 years in a good dead head marina like this ones in and it was a thick coat, so il figure next year i would do it.

7yr old sails but there heavy cruising sails so still good, defiantly going to take them over to the maker (local shop) and have them look them over.

auto helm has a broken gyro old model so may need a entire new unit

broken wind speed doohickey, was over sped during a storm so just needs a new top bit.

over all its in very good shape
owners a mechanic so engines got plenty of love
the v berths a actual mattress not a pad
12v refrigeration and freezer
full shower
probly just going to make the shower hanging storage unless im on a long cruse, better to make a mess of the marinas showers and less trips to the pump out, and current hanging lockers have removable shelves installd
standing rigging is good, spreaders new 3 years a go a long with some other
bits checked out good by rigger.

im probly going to take a second look at this one want to look over the wiring and what kinda tanks are installd, and the base of the mast for coroshion.
