Looking for s/v 'Maverick' - Fellowship 27

"Maverick" is a dutch-build Fellowship 27. I sailed her across the atlantic ocean in 2005 (when I was 19 years old), sold her in Juli 2006 in Charleston SC. She was sold again in 2007. I flew over to the USA in Spring of 2008, borrowed a car and drove to St. Marys, GA, where I met the new owner, Bob Winter. He did a lot of work on the boat, installed a new rudder, repaired a lot of things. He told me he would sail her down to the Bahamas in summer. Since then (March 2008) I didn't hear from him. So I wondered if anyone has met him since, can tell me about his whereabouts - or help to contact him?

Here's a picture of us:

Kind regards,

Johannes

You can do a search of the US Coast Guard database for vessels with that name, here: Office of Science and Technology. Enter the name in the box and it will return all documented vessels with Maverick in their name. I didn't see any that match your description, so it's possible Mr. Winter has chosen state registration over USCG documentation.

Good luck with your search.

Indeed, the photo shows Georgia state registration #GA 9032 HF.

You can download the GA boat registration records at https://hfwa.centraltechnology.net/g...ds/boatData.do

Easy way is to know the county of residence of the owner and download that file only. You can download records for all counties but it takes Microsoft database program Access (which I don't have) to read the files.

Have you got ahold of Bob? I know him my boat is docked in the slip across from the one he had. Hes an awesome guy and the first person I met out there. Let me know if you still need his number.

Hello,

I am still looking for Bob Winter. Do you know if he still owns "Maverick" - the De Kloet Fellowship 27? I'd really appreciate your help in making contact. I'd love to hear what happened to him and the boat in the meantime since we last met in March 2008.
