Looking for Shipman 28 Owners (or Similar)

Hi

I am a novice sailor, and I have recently bought a Shipman 28.

There are many things that I need fixing/upgrading, so I would like to find other owners willing to share information on their boats. (or similar boats)

As I will be solo sailing most of the time, I want to run the rigging to the cockpit, but I am afraid that the pressure of the lines will break the roof of the cabin, is that possible??

Has anyone modified the water or holding tanks?

How do you choose the size of the sails?
