Looking to Buy a Sailboat with a Steel Hull

They are out there .. it just takes a bit of looking and some good luck ...I found ZESTER (a Roberts 38) in San Carlos Mexico. I'm a land-locked sailor in southern Az. It is only a 5 hour drive down there. The boat was built by an experienced welder who also had an eye for interior finish as well.
I had to fly a surveyor over from La Paz mexico (Cecil Lange, paid $1300 including expenses and well worth it). We took over 200 ultra sound readings and none were over 5% out of the 4 mm spec. she came with a $25,000 balllanger rig, a gorgeous Saab GZ diesel with a variable pitch prop, a Givens 6 man delux life raft, furuno radar top of the line anderson winches... just to much to list ... so i'll post some pictures.

I actually saw the pictures first and thought, this is too good to be true. Monday morning I blew off work and drove down to Mexico, got on the boat and looked around and knew this was the one. Survey only came up with 2 fixes, reposition the siphon hoses for the engine exhaust water feed and double clamp one hose fitting ...
