Mighty Mug

Anyone seen this? Pretty sure a suction cup that when you lift the thing it opens an air valve breaking the suction, but thought it funny anyhow.
I could do without the stupid salesman though, that idiot is going to hurt sales I think.

Re: Mighty Mug

I saw these at walmart. They seem poorly made with just plastic liners in the cups. They work by a comination of counter weight and low level suction. No idea how well it keeps your cup from spilling but I was very unimpressed with the quality of them. A decent wide base mug, with a narrow neck, with a cap, like a typical mariner cup, would probably work just as well or better.

Re: Mighty Mug

I have never seen one, but suppose its just a suction cup, that when you lift the cup it pulls away from the base and that opens a valve and breaks the suction. If so then of course it will only work on a smooth surface. If I guess right then if you grab the base it will not release the suction, and I thought I saw that on the video?
I ordered one off of Amazon when I found out the website wanted $5 shipping, Amazon Prime is free shipping.

Re: Mighty Mug

Suction does not work on teak or other wooden covers. On the plus side if it falls down the coffee does not get spilled.
