Mirage Sailboat... 5.3?

I am purchasing a Mirage sailboat for my six year old son and I. Its my first sailboat and I am trying to find any information or specifications on the internet. The seller says it is a 1983 Mirage 5.3. However, all I can find on the internet is Mirage 5.5's. Is there such a thing as a Mirage 5.3? I cant find a manufacturer website or anything. I did find some listings that were in French, so I believe the manufacturer may be Canadian. Please help. Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is my first post on this site and Im praying for some quick responses. Thanks in advance.
