Monohull Transport Cost - Vancouver Island to the Sea of Cortez ?
I am getting antsy to sail southern waters. My boat is a Swain 36' pilot house twin keeler. Has anyone looked into the logistics/cost of trucking a boat from Vancouver Island to say, Sea of Cortez at this time of year? Do the bilge keels present a problem?

Have a little patience, hang out in the Gulf Islands for a few months and then sail her down. You have a good boat, why not use it?

I recently got a quote to have a boat sailed from the BVI to New England for $14k. You could compare the distances etc.
