Morgan Out Island 33 vs Bayliner Buccaneer 320

I'm a big fan of the Morgan 33 Out Island because of its size down below and offshore capabilities that some have written about on this forum. Now, there's a Bayliner Buccaneer 320 for sale in the local area that I might be able to get for a good price. But, after much research on the Buccaneer 320 on this forum and some other sailing forums there hasn't been a lot of good things said about the Buccaneer and if there was a positive post they only went as far as saying it was a good costal cruiser. With both boats having almost the same attributes why is the Morgan a good bluewater boat and the Buccaneer a costal boat at best? Thanks in advance!

At risk of (respectfully) ruffling some feathers here, I would say that the Morgan is also more of a coastal cruiser than a bluewater boat.

Morgan just overall better built. Better glass layup, stronger hull deck joint, stronger chainplates, better backing support on cleats, winches, etc.

The Morgan is not super heavy duty but I have sailed an OI36 a couple thousand miles in some pretty heavy weather and would do it again. Wouldn't want to do it in a Bayliner.

Is that the consensus that the Morgan is better built? But, I heard that not all Buccaneers were built alike, some were lemons and some were very well built? Any William Garden designed Buccaneer 320 owners here can comment? Thanks!

Didn't you say in your first post that there's one in the area for sale? Why not just go check it out, get first hand knowledge instead second hand opinions from a bunch of illiterate boat bums.

Shouldn't be too hard to decided if it's well put together or not.
