Moving up to a 35'-40' Cruiser

Hi All - I am moving up from my Tartan 33 coastal cruiser (a fine vessel) to something larger and sturdier for my offshore trips. Please send me your thoughts on Robert Perry designed Cheoy Lee 35 vs Ta Shing Baba 35, or other Robert Perry or Sparkman&Stephens 35-40 foot cruising boats, 1985-1995. What would be your choice, and why? I appreciate all your thoughts on this very important decision.
