My Boat

Well, I got "brave" today and become proud owner of Watkins 27. Now I have to learn. Just got in the mail the "Sailing for Dummies" and some other books ( How to read Nautical charts and navigation rules). Before I get to read all those books, I my have to buy another pair of reading glasses. It will be a while, before I get "brave" again and raise sail. Got some work to do on it, but mostly cosmetic and some improvements.

Re: My boat

Thank you. I am 59, so it will take a while. Today I had some exercise, getting to my boat and off. I believe, that I lost at least 5lbs.

Re: My boat

Congradulations on the Watkins 27. And at 59 you are still as young as you think you are. A little reading and a little help from your friends and you will be having the time of your life. Enjoy it. Oh yeah, good reading glasses are necessary for all the fine print you will be reading and for all the little inside projects every sailboat has.
