Nebe Cape 28??

I'm in there process of looking for a boat and ran across a Nebe Cape 28.

There is very little about them I could find but what I did find was positive in that they are considered well built and very sea worthy.

They appear to be in a similar class as an Albin Vega, but cost significantly more. They have a somewhat unusual layout in they they is no vberth, instead they have the head in the bow.

Can anyone make any comments about these boats or direct me to where I can find out more about them?

Thanks kindly.

The boat you are referenceing is not a 28 but a 25D not a 25 which is what I own and very different than a 25D

They are great looking boats. It's really too bad there's not more info on them, but it looks like fsailing35 might be a good resource.

Re: Nebe Cape 28??

That cape 28 is a good looking cruising boat. Having the whole forward compartment as a head/sail-locker makes a lot of sense on a cruising boat. A 28 foot boat is not fit for more than 2 people, so why have extra berths that are not usable in any kind of weather? It would probably take you far. ______Grant.

Re: Nebe Cape 28??

yes she would. I have the port settee made into a bed. I sail by my self when I stay out overnight it makes for a very comfortable bunk. sometimes I go down to the slip just to read a book and end up taking a nap just because it is so comfortable. I use the quarter births for life jacks, duffle bags and so on. There is alot storage on her. lockers under every birth a rear locker on the stern lockers in the bow no problem with storage. cheers

yes she was listed on sailing texas web site and is
on sailnet.com I mostly get people fishing or not willing to pay what I am asking. I have her listed for 17000.00 and not a penny less for what she has on her and the quality of the boat its a steal at that price. at least I think so any way if she sells then she sells if she does not that is ok too. she is prime for selling and I am not using her as much as I use to so its time for her to go to a new home where she will be loved and taken care of cheers
