If you go through the normal standard process you have two points of refusal to continue.

One is after the survey, one is after the sea trial. The sea trial is an opportunity for you to verify the basic boat delivers on its survey.

Escrow doesnt help if you ignore warning signs from the survey or don’t attend a proper sea trial.

Again this issue isnt about the survey , it’s brief but flags concerns whereupon the buyer should then look for further investigation or walk away.
