Northwind 56

Hi, I have seen a Northwind 56 from 1989 which I may be interested in buying. From what I've been able to find out online, these boats seem to be very well put together and, despite being heavily built, sail well. Has anyone any experience of owning a Northwind ? Thx

I looked at these before my buying selection . From my investigation, it seems the company went through many financial ups and downs and that quality suffered depending on where they sat in the cycle . I could not find out where a 1989 boat was positioned in those years . I think this boat is in Barcelona .....it has been for sale for four years .
