My brother and I have bought a project boat and it came with the following specs and hope you marine architect types can translate them for me.
1; total disp. 26,000 lbs
2; ballast 10,000 lbs
3; wetted area 304.9 ft sq.
4; sail area 748 ft sq.
5; sail area to wetted surface area 2.45
6; lateral plain 104 ft sq.
7; prismatic coefficient .45
8; centre of lateral plain aft dwl 15'9"
9; lbs per inch immersion@owl 1140 lbs

The hull is loa 40', dwl 30', draught 5', beam 12' full keel cutaway forefoot.
I have no idea as to what any of this means in regards to how this boat will perform so I'm hoping you guys can help me out so fire away.
