Okeechobee Waterway DIY Marinas?

I am getting a lot of varying information on this. I will be bringing a 35’ 5 1/2 draft boat from Port St Lucie, and would appreciate suggestions from people who have done this before. The mast height above waterline is ~45’.

There are a few things I would like to address on the boat myself. I know about Indiantown Marina, and have been there in the past, but they have pretty strict policies about DIY, and currently I do not wan’t to pay the $900/M of work area use. I am mainly just wanting to refinish teak, and touch up a few small places where deck paint has failed. I could pay 30/Day, but that would also require $250 to haul and launch for something that really probably could be done in the water.

I realize I could probably do this on a mooring or at anchor, but it will be much easier with steady shore power.

So basically I am searching for a marina or yard that is a little more relaxed. Gulf coast is fine as well.
