Older Used Sailboats Comparison

I am currently searching for a possible live-aboard in the 35 to 41' range. I have seen ads for a few Ericson 35's that are in my price range but I don't know much about the quality of Ericson boats built in the early 1970's. I also like the looks of Islander 36's. I would like to hear people's opinions about different boats in this size range

Welcome aboard, I am sure someone will have and answer to your question. I don't have any experience with the Ericson's, but I like the look.........

That's quite a broad question. Do you know how many different boats there are in that size range? It would be a good idea to narrow your question down a bit.

Both the Erickson and the Islander are good classic boats, and either could make a decent liveaboard.
