Options on Best Liveaboard Cruiser for Under $50k

I have a Helms 27 in fresh water now but my wife and I plan on getting a 35 to 40' liveaboard and heading south in a few years. So we need a good layout, full shower and galley. I dont mind some upkeep (it is a boat) but do not want an every day thing. We like the Pearson 367 but the inside is a litte cheep and she runs a little deep for the lake life right now. The Endeavour 38 is looking good as is the Ericson 38-200. Newer than 1980 (hate the white cabinet look) Everytime I find something I like I lookup the revews and is shot all to crap. So I look to you for some advice. Whach ya got?

Re: Options on Best Liveaboard Cruiser for Under $50k

Plenty of options. Depends on how many on board and what balance of comfort / space / performance you desire. Same volume boats may difer in layout too - some layouts are better than others (again: at sea vs. at the dock).

Probably enter the top price into the yachtworld and have a look at the boats you might like.
