Pearson Wanderer

Does anyone know what the centerboard of a late 1960s Pearson Wanderer was made of - Monel, Iron, Steel, Bronze?

Thanks

Yes - it is fiberglass.

I am in the process of negotiating the purchase of a 1968 Pearson Wanderer. I had the survey done on Thursday, and we short-hauled her to take a look at all the wet bits and pieces underneath - including dropping the centerboard and raising it back up.

The centerboard isn't really all that heavy. The ballast is in the keel - 3,800 lbs of lead.
