Power Steering
Hello, I have a 40 foot Schucker, full length keel that is a bear to steer, especially in heavy seas
I am considering adding hydraulic steering as now it s all mechanical with chains,gears, and a pull pull cable system. My auto pilot is also flakey so it will probably be replaced at the same time so a unit that includes that provision would be nice. Anyone with experience and knowledge of installing a PS unit and manufacturers I would be glad to hear of your trials and tribulations Thanks.
