Private Sailing Lesson, France Med

Hello SAILORS!! Is there anyone of you living in Cote DAzur that could give me a navigation lesson on my own boat please. ? It's the final end of our marriage and I will be the one keeping the boat vs. the apartment. I have crossed the whole Med with it and so on.. but for some odd reason I always had a captain and did not ask questions and much pay attention to learning the navigating equipments - i'm clueless - i focused on planning and provisioning and cooking and serving cocktails and cleaning and dolphin watching, im good at anchoring and sails and reefing.. anyone around that is not expensive? Women sailors would be the preference but patient men are good too. Thank you

Re: Private Sailing Lesson, France Med

Good on you, Ana, for taking this initiative! If I were closer, I'd definitely help. I'm also dual French/American citizen and a female in the San Francisco area. I learned from the beginning to singlehand because I don't have a partner and I never wanted that to interfere with owning a boat. That said, I also got a lot of great help from experienced sailing friends that I learned from as well as from forums like this. I hope you can tap into that local source of sailors you might have. You also probably know a whole lot more than you think you do. I see that with many females. You will gain that confidence by getting out and sailing often. Bon chance! Let us know how it goes
