Re: Prop Walk

I recall the first time I ever attempted to reverse a yacht with wheel steering into a marina dock. I was so confused, and just no feedback to tell me where the rudder was actually set. Thank goodness for a decent sized boat hook.

Re: Prop Walk

I replaced a 3-bladed fixed prop with a 3-blade folding Gori prop. The advantages include almost full knot of sailing speed, improved efficiency in motoring, and significant power increase while reversing. The DISADVANTAGE is much less prop walk in reverse. I miss it. It was better to have traditional prop walk as a tool.
