Renovation

Recently purchased a Hunter 31. In the survey it was noted that the sanitary lines where crystalizing, that the smell on the boat was being caused by it. There was also no anti symphony loop on intake side of the toilet. So the seacocok for supply has to be closed if you are not aboard, or the wc will fill almost to overflow. Now I a going to replace the entire piping system in the head, I would like to attach to the boat somehow the the 2 anti-siphon lines and the the y a valve, everything is accessible to a point, in my mind I want to attach something between the head walls and the hull. Can you use an adhesive e to attach a pvc board to the and use the pvcas a mounting bracket? Any thoughts.

Re: Renovation

You might consider picking up Peggie Hall's book on Marine Sanitation. She is the Goddess in that particular department and her book will make a great resource as you tackle this project.

Re: Renovation

Thanks for buying my book...and now you have me to go with it--that is, if you want my help...I don't charge anything to help folks with projects. If you do, send me a PM that includes your email address...swapping emails is SO much easier than PMs, plus I can attach photos and drawings showing where things go in the system to emails...no way to attach anything to a PM.
