Sailing around the world - What Monohull would you buy?

when I started to my first circumnavigation I had decent sailing experience and also I read many books of yoyages under sail. So I was sure for my self what kind of boat I would aquire for my voyage and was not searching for individual proposals from people I d'dnt know and not knowing their experience. I think if you have to look around for opinions which is the right boat for you you are not ripe to start for a circumnavigation.

We really liked our Hans Christian 34. Put thousands of miles on her. Including a trip from Long Beach California through the Panama canal and up to Washington DC.

Sounds good. How do get support when you are a thousand or more miles away. Plus pumps, engines are warranted by those companies
