Sailing with a ?

Hi, to all members
This is my first post
Need your opinion
I am in search to bay a sailing boat, to sail in Croatia and Montenegro
During the winter, berth at marina Bar - Montenegro
I have three preferred sailing boats on my list and there are available now with the price tag very similar

1) 2008 Beneteau Ocianis 48 (one owner, owners version, aircon, lazy jack)
2) 2008 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 48 (one owner, owner version, aircon, lazy jack)
3) 2008 Elan Impression. 514 (one owner, owners version, aircon, inmast ferling

Do I need big boat !
I will have my family and friends coming abroad, need space and comfort
Looking forward to your opinion
Till then
Stay Safe

Re: Sailing with a ?

You are right, ColorMode, they are all very similar = large production boats of a similar era. They will all perform equally.

I would stay away from in-mast furling.

Other than that, it'll just be identifying and purchasing the boat which is in the best condition and has the layout that suits you best. "Owner's versions" (without generalising too much) seem to be better thought out in terms of layout, but I suppose that varies amongst manufacturers and personal preferences, of course!

Getting a good survey will help.

Best of luck,
