Santana 22 Battens

Can anyone tell me the correct sizes for mainsail battens on a 1970 era Santana 22? Mine is in Australia so may have been made under licence by Triton, rather than the original builder.
Not sure what, if any, differences there may be.

Re: Santana 22 Battens

There is no reason to follow the class rules unless you are racing one-design. Consider following the advice of a good sailmaker. The US boats have lee or very neutral helm, so a larger main (full battens and more roach) may be desired. That us if your boats mast and mast position are the same.

But to answer you question class rules and sail specs are here http://santana22.org/articles/rules

Re: Santana 22 Battens

Battens may vary depending on who made the sail. You could buy stock or longer ones and finalize them your self.
