I'm trying to sell my 1983 Island Packet 26 MkII. Posted on CL for while, tried once eBay. So far not much success. Can anyone suggest good sailboat dealer? Boat is in NJ.

As far as a NJ dealer, I would highly recommend G.Winters Sailing Center in Riverside. I have bought 3 boats and sold 2 boats through them. If you are looking for someone that has maybe sold more Island Packets than anyone in the USA, both new and used, call Ed Kurowski at S&J Yachts in Rock Hall, MD.

I am trying to sell my 1989 IP 31 also. Let me know if you come across any brokers in the NYC area

Call Michele Martinage at S&J Yachts. She sold me my IP-31 20 years ago and she is still with Ed and gang out of Rock Hall, MD. office 410-571-3605, cell 410-708-4416.

Best market for selling will be Annapolis Boat Show Oct 8-12. Annapolis has included a large section of the harbor for used boat in-water display. Locate the IP broker in Annapolis, get your boat down here a couple of days before the show, and enjoy the town while 50,000 people crawl over boats.

Not bad idea ... but unfortunately I don't have that much time on hands.
