Shipping a boat home from overseas

My wife and I are looking into shipping our Valiant 42 from Sydney, Australia back to the east coast of the US. We used Dockwise years ago from the Caribbean, but they won't fit our schedule/ports. Does anyone have experience with this (or something similar) that they could share with us? We know it ain't gonna be cheap!
Thank you,
Roy and Gail Greenwald

Re: Shipping a boat home from overseas

My friends shipped their Gulfstar 44 back. As I remember it involved buying a cradle and putting it on a regular freighter. I'll see if I can contact them. PM me.

If you could put them in touch with me, that would be great.

No way you could sail her home, Westwards?

There are amazing locations: Northern Territory, Christmas, Cocos, Mascarenas, RSA, Ascension. We loved that part of our trip.

Cheers,
b.

Try Sevenstar, they have a office in Sydney. I used them to freight our yacht from Med to Brisbane on deck cargo mast up.. Highly recommend
Cheers
