Shipping yacht from US to Australia

Has anyone got a rough idea of how much the shipping costs are for a 44 foot yacht from east and west coast of the US to Australia.

You can get some quotes pretty easily from the main yacht shipping. I'm assuming you would be mast-up, which would limit you. Probably in the order of A$50,000 from west coast although it's unlikely to be direct and more likely 2-stage (say to Singapore first), or A$70,000 from the west coast with an equally small chance of direct. I've just made these up of course. And then you have taxes and duty, etc. which are described on the web sites.

It's going in the right direction, maybe you could find someone who would sail it for fun + costs + a little spending money. It would take longer though.
