IFs are cheap and fun to sail. Buy one, sail it, sell it later.

Re: Smaller Cruisers commonly found in Europe

Thanks for the great advice everyone! These Maxis are something I've never heard about before so I'll definitely be taking a deeper dive into those. The mrs most definitely would approve of the interiors in some of those boats!

Woof Woof!
I mean, if the plane has had a crash free history, has been well maintained, has the records to prove it and passes all the inspections required for it to be deemed airworthy, I would definitely load my wife and child into it and fly around the country - unless you mean participating in the actual airshows or performing aerial acrobatics with it, which makes me wonder what you do with your boat...

Aircraft have far more rigorous standards than a small boat, so perhaps it isn't the best comparison, but I'm not expecting to cross oceans with my family aboard a small boat like that. I just want something affordable to be able to manage singlehanded, but to have a few weekends with the family onboard.

Re: Smaller Cruisers commonly found in Europe

The below Linjett 32 is slightly more in asking (EUR 22k) than your goal.

But Linjett quality is probably some of the best out of Sweden overall on par or above HR/Maxi/Arcona.

Linjett is one of the oldest boat builders still in existence (since 1886) - they now build the Shogun 43 and 50!

You can find the old Linjett models described here: https://www.linjett.se/en/previous-models/
