Surveyors on St Maarten

Hi..
I am very new at this forum..I am planning to buy a sailboat that is in St Maarten and was wondering if anyone out there has a recommendation for a surveyor....The boat I am looking at is a 41 C&C a little older girl...1985

There are some good French-speaking surveyors, but their English isn't the best - do you speak French? If yes, I can make a recommendation. There are also some excellent surveyors in the BVI and the round-trip LIAT flight is only $150 so that might be an option for you as well. I do know that the BVI surveyors often fly around the Caribbean.

There is a french surveyor around Time Out Boat yard, he speak good english and is the boss at the SAR base in the french side, their name is Jean Claude if i remember well.. cheers.
