Re: Swan 411 wedges

Why can't you just shim it something like teak wedges?
No need to use rubber.

Re: Swan 411 wedges

Your local rigger ought to have, or be able to quickly source, appropriate wedges.

Re: Swan 411 wedges

I don't know the dimensions, so I don't know whether industrial wedges will do the job. On the off chance that they will, look at:

Re: Swan 411 wedges

Thanks all for your responses.
My owner's instructions request the wedges I mentioned. Of course I( have contacted riggers to avail. Wood wedges are a second possibility of which I am aware. There are special requirements in terms of hardness for these wedges so I was trying to avoid the online rubber wedges that did not specify their hardness.
I will continue to search for the wedges I mentioned. If any Swan owners know of a supply opportunity for them, please let me know.
Thanks again to those who have attempted to help.

https://www.mcmaster.com/products/st...eets-and-bars/

What you want is LDPE which has a shore hardness between 40 and 50 per the attached https://plasticranger.com/what-is-shore-hardness-scale/
