Swiftsure 33 Phillip Rhodes Design - 1960

I have just bought a Swiftsure33 Phillip Rhodes design, 1960. Are there any other owners out there for info? This boat is in many pieces and will be a hull up restoration. Simon Minc

Aloha and congratulations on a new project.
I've always appreciated the Rhodes designs and Cheoy Lees from that era had pretty good hulls.
Good luck.
kind regards,

I see this is an older post, but courious to know if you still have the swiftsure.

I just purchased a 1960 swiftsure 33, hull #20.

Hull up restoration being recorded at www.BittersweetRestoration.com

Be great to hear from some else that has gone through it.

I have always liked the Swiftsure 33s. I almost purchased one maybe 20 years ago. She needed work but was well worth the effort. The deal fell through unfortunately. Good luck! It looks like it will be fun!

Re: Swiftsure 33 Phillip Rhodes Design - 1960

I bought a 1960 33' Phillip Rhodes swiftsure and fell in love with it. The boat spoke to me and was my cocoon. I lost it due to Irmaria as I live in the Virgin islands. Desparate to find another. But $20000 is more than I can handle as I am still trying to build my life back. I don't mind a project. Please let me know if you guys know of something. Thank you in advance.

If your still looking for a Swiftsure I'm thinking about selling mine 1961 swiftsure 33 centerboard, working Yanmar 2QM15, working set of sails Roller, and storm sails, Lots of original Bronze. updated rig in "85 aluminum mast. No electronics. Sails great!
