Tank or Compost?

Hello! We just acquired our first sailboat, a 1972 Cal 2-46 and it has no black water holding tank. We are debating either putting in a tank or just getting a composting toilet. Anyone have any experience with the composting toilets? Any opinions on which is better or more practical would be helpful! Thank you 😁

I assume you have searched "composting head", "desiccating head", "airhead", and "nature's head"?
