Good luck Eder. Good boat choice. You will be under power a lot here in the north west summer and the IP will handle that well. The major down side is that all the IPs that I have observed are poor at close quarter handling but that is something you can learn to live with or go for the bow and stern thursters. Ed.

Yes, the full keel would normally be a tough handling characteristic I think but it does have a 6 hp bow thruster which was fun to use and can easily make me do doughnuts haha.
This year will be committed to learning to becoming less of a menace on the ocean, see the sights,eat a bunch of crabs & salmon and learn all we can from our peers out there.
Next year we plan to head South if all goes well.
