Oh crap! We did not need to see this. We are less than two weeks away from moving on to our, new to us, Beneteau 40 for the summer. Nerves are frayed thin already in anticipation and tempers are short, very unlike us.

Thank you for your story!

I am in awe of those who can do it the spreadsheet way (correctly).

The Serrano ham is fantastic
Western groceries are expensive on most of the Pacific islands. Expect at least double or triple whatever you might be used to. The ham was a French brand of whole boned leg but at least it was real ham. Loaf ham was much cheaper. I wound up with Australian leg ham at about $30-35/kg.

If you are passing morning bay anytime soon Ann & Jim, drop in for coffee, would love to meet so much walking experience in real life.

What a great story! So happy for you!!

I see you have a great swim platform. IMHO, swim platforms are priceless. We swim regularly from the back of our boat when we daysail. Love it. AND, once we take off for whereverland, it will be much easier to get on the dinghy.

Crikeys!! We've been anchored there for a fortnight, and have been meaning to come say G'day to you. Then on Thursday we both left for other places, us soon after you. We'll be back in a few days... and would be glad to have an eyeball if you too have returned.

Jim

Re: The Search is Over

Hi Capswife...
A swim platform was one of the features we wanted when we commenced the search...
The other was a bed that you did not have to climb over the other person to get in or out off...

Re: The Search is Over

Morning Quebramar...

Yes exciting time ahead for sure...

I was actually working on the XL yesterday...adding a few extra details and updating the 'costs to date' aspect....Its scary when you have the numbers laid out to see how much has actually been spent....

As they say; we are here for a short time, not a long time, make it a good time'..
