Three boats One choice

Intentions; Trailer sailboating. Taking my boat to distant locations for a week at a time. Finding fellow sailors in locations both near and distant. Coastal cruising for up to a week onboard. Boat camping.
Requirements; Under 5000 lb including trailer. Easy to rig, launch, retrieve, and de-rig.
I have narrowed my search down to three possible boats;
1) 1989 Quickstep 21. Available locally. Displacement; 2500 lb. Draft (board up) 1' 11". Board down 4'4". Beam is 8'
2) 1988 Precision 23. Available three days drive (2000 miles). Displacement; 2450lb. Draft (board up) 1'11". Board down 5'4". Beam 8'6"
3) Late model or well kept Com-Pac 23. Hard to find. Displacement; 3000 lb. Draft 2'3". Beam 7'10".
Because I am towing I'm drawn to both the Quickstep and the Precision for their weight as well as their lesser draft with the board up. I do love the look of the Com-Pac but it is 500 lb heavier and, from what I have heard) hard to rig and launch.
Both available boats have been in the hands of the same captain for over 12 years and are both well kept. Both come with 10 HP Outboards. I am trying to keep my budget in the $10,000.00 range and both fit the budget.
I know- there is no perfect boat. Every boat is a compromise. But we all have opinions and I would love to hear yours.
Thanks.

ComPac is a great little boat, but why did you leave out the Catalina 22? And if you got the tow vehicle, just move up to a Commodore 26. Just need two tough crew, or three average crew, to step the mast!

The Com Pac weighs more because it's a better boat. But for what you are doing, they are probably all fine!
The Precision will feel bigger because it's wider (as well as longer). I dont know that boat though.

Some friends used to sail a San Juan 24, towing it all over the Midwest and more.

Try looking at a Ranger 20 (or even the 24). I took one up the inside passage and all over the nw. Tough little boat that never let me down. The cockpit can be fully enclosed for extra space.

Can’t go wrong with #2 or #3. Get surveys! Ignore the calls for adding a #4.

Catalina 22.. parts are still available and can be shipped overnight..

Look for a Catalina 22 wing keel if possible. The draft is the same as a swing keel board up.
