Today was SPLASH DAY! - Oyster Mariner 35

Hi-
Just wanted to share our very exciting day with you. Eight months ago we purchase our new boat, an Oyster Mariner 35, and had it delivered by semi to our back yard as she was in need of a major refit.
We have broken the project into 4 sections:
1) everything needed to get her in the water
(thruhulls/shaft/rudder/paint/engine...)
2.) everything needed to get her sailing
(masts, rigging, sails...)
3.) everything needed to make her comfortable for short cruises/liveaboar
(canvas, refrigeration, cushions, basic electronics, autopilot....)
4.)everything needed for an extended cruise
(electronics, solar panels, extras of everything....)

Today we are officially 25% done!!

Congratulations! As a fellow refitter, I would appreciate some photos of the works

CONGRATS KINDLE!!! There are A LOT of refitters here. Like idpnd posted, post pics and progress when you can. Feel free to ask if you run into problems, no need to reinvent the wheel. Beautiful boat!

1. ) I was looking for a thread that everyone could post their most recently completed little projects. You know, "look what I completed this weekend" kind of thing. It would be fun to see everyones projects and creative little solutions. Before and After pics of all the projects would be fun too. Does a thread like this already exist?

2. ) Thanks. So far searching previous threads has provided all the information I've needed. For example, this boat came with a Lav-vac head. I learned all about it--and more-- from previous threads!!! I have still to try it out yet though. As we get into the rigging and replacing the sails we may have more questions though. Lots of decisions to make coming our way!
