Re: Twin Rudders

My concern is that you have such a good chance of catching floating ropes, fishing nets, mooring lines even floating debri in one or both rudders. They are not behind a keel and not behind a skeg.

Does anyone have experiences to justify or dispel my fears??

Has anyone come across any ideas like fitting an wire from the aft end of the keel to the bottom of the rudder to try to avoid some of this jamming between the hull and the top of a rudder?
