Re: Ultra Leather….worth it?

Vinyl: Real Sticky, I hate it in a boat
Ultra suede: Hmm.. not cool like smooth leather. But not bad feel. Doesn't it stain permanently?
Sunbrella: I had a boat done in it. Waterproof, not sticky, inexpensive.
Expensive Upholstery patterns: We knew a home decorator, she picked it for us. If mostly poly pretty darn nice, cool, smooth, moisture resistant.. It was my favorite. Seems too "busy" today though, but this was early 90's...

Whoever made the cushions was a genius, though. The buttons are removable (thanks to the hook-back buttons on the back side) so they can be unzipped, the covers removed from the foam, and thrown into the washer (cold water) every year. They come out remarkably clean. I reinstall the buttons with a big upholstery needle.

We do keep a terry towel on the seats because stuff just gets spilled, and it's easy to throw the towel in the wash.

Best of luck!
You have exactly the shape and look that I’m going for. Lovely salon!
