Universal M25 Engine - Mystery Part?

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/8w1HPHXsULWzHpIt7FRCbWA7ekiWj9r9g-P8qRXCLWtbaFFSOOw7k7h2AUSCOVbxQiooRA=s113[/IMG]

I found this interesting ELBOW item coming off the top of the engine, with seemingly clean, fresh threads on it. But no hose?

Anyone know what it is? Or what I should do? (Engine runs fine).

Re: Universal M25 Engine - Mystery Part?

If it is in the head cover, it looks like the breather hose connection - not sure if the right term. If so, should have a hose attached to it and to the air filter at the other end. Picture is not clear.

That sounds right....and I will investigate using that term ""Crankcase breather hose". (Does are go INTO the crankcase, from that elbow you think? Or OUT of crankcase?)

Let the engine breathe - breather hose to air intake redesign

I think this is the solution!!! (?) Thanks everyone!
