Used sails

Hello, I am considering buying a used mainsail. It is about a year old and I just want to make sure the two sails are compliant. My boat is an ericson 25+ Which probably has the original mainsail with measurements P31 E10. The used sail is off an ericson 27 P27.12 E9.7.
We use a small jib which I believe is a 110.
We are day sailors and don’t race.

Will there be any imbalance or rigging issues?

Well, it will be like sailing with one reef in the full size main, more or less. If that is ok with you, then no problems. If that seems underpowered, then look some more.

Well the admiral has been a bit scared from some heavy heeling over the last few years. This year we have always started with one reef. Maybe it is what the doctor ordered. Happy admiral, happy life... doesn’t quite rhyme but seems true still.
