V-berth Cushion

I have a reasonable sized v-berth (albeit with little headroom) in my J/27 and would like to make it more comfortable for my toddler to nap up there while underway. I am looking for long cushions to put alongside the hull. I was thinking I could use some tubular cushions or could look for rectangular ones. The difficulty with the rectangular is that they might not stay in place, but the tubular ones might fall into the cracks. Any good ideas? They would need to be about 6'.

Any canvas shop or sail maker can make them for you. Have them sew some Velcro patches on the side against the hull. Use sticky back Velcro to fasten them to the hull so they won't move.

You can easily cut foam to fit with an electric knife... Then cover them and use velcro to attach
