Westerly fulmar switches

I have a question for anyone that has a westerly fulmar. I was looking for the bilge pump switch, on the switchboard above the batteries, just in front of the quarter birth, and I didn’t see one labeled ‘bilge pump’. There is one labeled ‘P Pump’. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what that switch is for. What is the P Pump?

Thanks for any help.

Turn it off and see if the bilge pump works.

I tried that. It either isn’t that or there just wasn’t enough water in the bilge for it to suck it up. It did make a running pump noise, though.

Do you mean that after you changed the switch position that the pump started to run? If so then that must be the switch for the pump.

No. A pump started to run. The small amount of water around the bilge pump inlet didn’t move a bit. I’m new to this boat, and my last boat said ‘bilge pump’ where the bilge pump switch was.
