Westerly Oceanlord

Hi All,
Looking at possible purchase of a Westerly Oceanlord, spent some time on the boat today and noticed that there seems to be some flex in decks, notably over the aft cabin, for cabin especially where the spam is quite large. The owners assured me it’s not a core issue. Just wanted see if there are any Oceanlord owners who could confirm this. It dit feel like a delaminating or rotten core.
TIA

That was an error. Fat fingers on a small phone. It did not feel like rotten core.

I have a Sealord with treadmaster so no source of leaks as you may have if teak.
Cabin top over the aft cabin flexs a little - I put it down to it being quite a large unsupported span, what is it - maybe 1.5 metres by 1.5 metres or even a little more?

How old is it? Does it even have core in the deck? Some early boats didn't. That could be a plus.... Not familiar with the Oceanlord.

Sealords and then Oceanlords were in production from 1983 until 2000.
