What boat is this? owner doesn't know.

I am getting a boat that is 25ft swing keel with a Yanmar diesel. Has a steering wheel in the center. I would ask for pictures but owner is not in the state for at least winter. This is the only picture they have so far. It also has a small toilet with a door to it and teak wood for everything on the inside. Maybe some guesses on year and make? I won't purchase till I get an idea and won't be able to look at it for a month. Thanks for any help Rob from Englewood FL.

I'd guess its fiberglass.....

But from that picture, good luck.

Your best bet is to ask for the HIN from the registration, from there we can determine year make and model.

Its fiberglass, but I can't find that information out till about a month from now. Just not trying to waste time traveling to view it. I have one other picture but it doesn't help.

Well I've looked at the Irwin's and the Watkins but neither seem to have a Yanmar with center console steering wheel. Hmm....I may be looking in the wrong places. Either way thanks for help so far.

I'm not able too out of state. I'll have some body local fly by it and get the # I suppose lol. But either way getting it for a good price. 25ft Myanmar diesel that runs with everything aboard it for price of free. Just needs to be re-bottomed. Then when I get out of military in one year I can plan trips for up to a month out .

Wheel and diesel can be added to nearly any boat but is unusual on a 25. And, the bowsprit is not very common with a centerboarder. Not a Bayfield they have a long keel.
Irwin 25 has a raised trunk aft and no bowsprit unless sailboatdata has it wrong.

It does look a lot like a Irwin 10/4 (10'4" beam) Not a Bayfield for sure...

If she's a documented yacht, just search documented vessels in Google and the second or third hit that comes up will be for the Coast Guard site to search for documented vessels by name...

Put in the vessel's name, pick her out of the list of vessels with that name, click, and you'll have a chart of information on the vessel that includes the builder.

Looks a little like a Bombay 26, can't see how many windows on the cabin sides but in any event she looks like a quality little yacht. The Bombay 26 was the precursor to the Island Packet 26, pretty nice freebie.
