I dunno, I have a 45 foot Columbia and a 30 foot Iroquois cat. The cat seems to be doing more work as a chick magnet. It has the trampoline, swim platform, is easy to drive, costs about 4 bucks an hour under power, is faster under sail, can operate in 2 feet of water and can be ready to go in the time it takes me to get a load of ice for the cooler. The big boat is just big and more domesticated. Its has all the creature comforts you need after a day on the cat.

ok so then my formosa is a chick magnet...hhmm....i was hoping for a dude magnet.....

Mine has been a "dude" magnet. Unfortunately it draws men who think it's their role in life to rescue fair maiden. It doesn't seem to draw men who value independence. They say things like "You need a first mate." No, I don't. I'd love to have a guy in my life who loves to sail, but not if he thinks I need to be "rescued."

But I am who I am, and better a guy know right now that women who feel helpless are unlikely to move onto a sailboat and live there by themselves.

The larger the boat and the magnet, the greater the attractive force. It of course helps to throw in some rare captain elements to increase the attractive force like samarian-cobalt, yttrium or cash.

Besides a windvane auto, new freshwater tank, repairs on my inboard....I need a dancing beautiful woman making french toast in my galley. That video made my week...which was actually a good one! Haha

I'm single, so sailing my old Catalina with my 3 year old daughter works every time...except with the close quarters, there is no....ya know...until her mom pics her up.
Kids, they work EVERYTIME, no matter the circumstance.
