I just finished my second crewing assignment on an IP 44. We got the crap beat out of us this time by the seas and wind, but if you want a well built, excellent fit/finish boat I would shout for the IP 44. Lots of storage, a backbone second to none and I think they look pretty good as well. We were sailing with the stays'l and a double reefed main and doing 8kt's on a close haul in 20kt wind. Just my 2 cents
