This is an international forum. The question was a legitimate one, and even the USA is a large country.

Please try and be specific. You are asking for help, so if you want good answers, good and complete information is required.

Re: What'She Worth?

Well I did all the work myself, boats are *easy* but ya I would be happy to get out what went in for sure,

and there's only one place that's the most remote on earth last time I checked, want me to Google that for you you didn't learn to sail by having someone else do it for you did ya, I just need a rough vessel valuation opinion, I don't need help, all the works been done as I said, and I get what I get for her as with anything, hopefully find some real sailors who will love her but maybe they can't afford crazy pay, don't get you're rags all bunched up just cause you can't figure out where I'm at, and just cause I'm having a little fun it's an easy brain teaser, another hint is its a very cruiser unfriendly place, the worst for usa

Re: What'She Worth?

She's great, no condensation from that thick deck and insulated hull

Let's see....

1) condesension to people you are asking to help? Yup
2) refusing to answer relavent questions? Yup
3) a holier than tho attitude about Google skills? Yup

Meh I think the boat is worth nothing. No one would want to do business with you, so get a broker (if you can find one to tolerate you), and do what he says. As it sits the boat probably has negative value because the owner is an &## and in the middle of nowhere. I would never buy a small ocean going boat with the necessity of immediatly moving it to civilization, knowing if there was anything wrong with it I would have to fly out parts and maybe a speciality. Not to mention the cost of getting a survey in the middle of nowhere.

So to me... I would guess it would cost about $20,000 to move it to civilization, so that's what I will take it off your hands for. Pay me $20k and you won't have to mess with it again.

Re: What'She Worth?

I did google the most remote place on earth.

"With a population of approximately 270, the main island of*Tristan da Cunha*is also the remotest inhabited island in the world.*Tristan da Cunhahas no airport, so all travel must be by boat, making it the most remote inhabited place by transport time"

What a horrible place to sell a boat, a person would need a boat to come look at your boat!

Re: What'She Worth?

A 1960's 32' sloop in the Ozarks would sell for about 10K tops.

Re: What'She Worth?

Boy I sure asked for it, an opinion on the internet none the less, sure what a delightful couple y'all are. Wow Tristan da cunha I had not heard of that and will check it out, see how fun that is gang try pull that head out and get down off that hog, don't blame me for your shortcomings if you think I'm buying it you're wrong suckers, one good dash deserves another, ya 40k my ask, and who would ever travel or anything for a 30ft boat what are y'all smoking. No need to turn into a real piece on me.

Yah about 10 was what I thought too, pretty standard anywhere right, now to checkout this cunhahas much more interesting than an old small sloop, kinda like a couple idiots here, I would love to see what a great person you are, that sounds fun too

Re: What'She Worth?

Yes you should post to another forum. Obviously everyone here is too dense to figure out your little secret.

Maybe on another forum you can ask a question and not have to deal with annoying people trying to help that ask legitimate questions that might give you a more useful answer.

This post made my day. LOL. The funniest thing I've read in a while.

Here's some reading on Tristan da Cunha:

Re: What'She Worth?

I think it's probably worth the figure I've just written down on a piece of paper, then folded four times and placed in a dark room. That is, of course, providing the boat is no more than forty nautical miles from the southern tip of the peninsular. If, however, the boat is the colour I'm thinking of, I am prepared to offer another 22% (less tax).

Re: What'She Worth?

This is going nowhere.

The OP refuses to give information, the rest is speculation.
