Anyone with access to plans and/or sail plans for an O'kell 46 centre cockpit ketch please contact me as I only have the main drawing of what was designed as "Whim-a-Way".

Just an add on, is there anyone who knows what happened to Wilf O'Kell, even if he is still alive, or even P Bouman who once upon a time drew up Wilf's plans for him.

Hi,
I have an O'Kell 46 'WHIM-O-WAY' Drawn up in 1972. I bought her with no masts (its a Ketch) and all I have is the 'General Arrangements' plan sheet. Did your dad keep a copy of the plans he created as I am desperate to obtain a sail plan for her. I have no real idea even of mast size alone the rest of it.Tientos is the only other Ferro 46 I have been able to find and she was converted to a sloop early on. I love my yacht and the way she handles a big sea (bass strait in Jan this year) even under engine, so I just want her to be right.

Hi there....wilf okell is alive and well and living in the sunshine coast of australia...I tracked him down and had a extensive chat with him about his boats as I have recently bought a partly completed hull that was made by him thirty or so years ago! lovely fellow and a pleasure to chat to !!
