For the record, this one is a power cat and not a sailing cat.

This morning the Power Cat home cruise Harmony lay upside down on its twin hull with debris spread all over Teewah Beach.

any excuse to promote the agenda I suppose.

I really fail to see the connection a power boat is a power boat irrespective of hull shape

By the way catty - the title of this forum is multihull SAILBOATS, if you look at the list of fora, there is a very special place for this discussion - its called POWERED BOATS.

Perhaps one of the ever present mods might like to move this thread where it belongs

Sounds like one hull flooded for some reason..(holed/shaft fell out) and she just plain sank... beyond life support position

It was a calm water twin hulled houseboat
Not a powercat

It had two hulls though. Anything with two hulls which ends up in trouble, be it a seaplane, a trailerboat, a surf racing boat or a pedal powered hire thingy, quialifies for yet another "Cat flips" thread doesn't it?

Houseboat on the ocean? Sounds like a Darwin thread.

Excellent work, folks . . . a question was asked about a boating accident, a theory was advanced about the cause, the record was corrected about the vessel actually involved and a link was provided to the news report. Very efficiently handled! Thank you!
